Back in December I was lucky enough to get a phone call from Chris Antuna asking me to photograph his wedding. My parents were good friends with the Antuna family when I was a kid and his grandmother is my godmother.

When I first became a newspaper photographer over 20 years ago I worked at the Novi News and some of the Antuna’s lived in Novi including Chris. I even photographed a few of them playing sports for the newspaper. As time went on and people grew up, got married and had kids so we didn’t see each other much but they remembered I was a photographer. It was great after at least 10 years to see some of them last night.

Oh except the little kids I remember photographing were in their 20′s now and made me feel old for sure. Have a great trip Chris and Laura and thanks for letting me document your wedding day.
